About OBJ STUDIO
Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario
OBJ STUDIO is a Toronto-based design studio producing modern home objects through 3D printing and plant-based materials. Each piece is made layer by layer using PLA, a renewable material that supports low-waste production and precise, consistent forms.
Designed for contemporary spaces, OBJ STUDIO products balance function and form. Everyday objects are presented as refined sculptural pieces—quiet, intentional, and suited for long-term use. The studio’s digital manufacturing process ensures consistent quality while supporting thoughtful design aligned with modern interiors and responsible production values.
Material: Plant-Based PLA
We use PLA, a plant-based bioplastic made from renewable sources such as corn starch, cassava, or sugarcane.
PLA supports precise digital fabrication, keeps waste low, and fits our goal of gentle impact on the environment.
Studio Practice
OBJ STUDIO explores layers, rhythm, and simple lines. We test forms through prototypes and small runs in the studio before each design enters the collection.
The result is a series of objects that sit between design and sculpture: vases, planters, trays, lighting, and small pieces for the desk and table.
