OBJ STUDIO is a Toronto-based design studio producing contemporary 3D-printed home objects. Our collection includes vases, planters, trays, organizers, lighting, and decorative objects.

Each OBJ STUDIO piece is designed and 3D-printed in Toronto, Canada.

Our pieces are primarily 3D-printed using PLA, a material derived from renewable plant sources such as corn and sugarcane. We select our PLA suppliers with care, considering material quality, colour, and finish.

PLA allows us to produce lightweight, durable objects while reducing reliance on conventional petroleum-based plastics. It is well suited to our small-batch additive manufacturing process.

Additive manufacturing builds an object layer by layer, using material only where it is needed. This can produce less offcut waste than many traditional subtractive manufacturing methods.

PLA can break down under controlled industrial composting conditions, but it does not quickly biodegrade in normal household compost or landfill. Availability of suitable facilities varies by location.

PLA is lightweight and durable for everyday indoor use. As with most decorative objects, pieces should be handled with care and protected from excessive heat, impact, and prolonged moisture.

Yes. Our PLA products are designed primarily for indoor decorative and functional use.

Water resistance varies by product. Some vases are designed to hold water, while others include a glass insert for fresh flowers. Refer to the product description for specific care instructions.

PLA is heat-sensitive. Keep pieces away from heaters, open flames, hot surfaces, and prolonged direct sunlight. Temperatures around 50°C / 122°F and above may cause deformation.

• Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Use a damp cloth when needed.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and strong chemicals.
• Do not place in a dishwasher.
• Avoid prolonged contact with water.

PLA generally maintains its colour well indoors. To help preserve the finish, avoid extended exposure to strong direct sunlight.

Check with your local waste or composting provider to see whether they accept PLA or industrially compostable materials.

If suitable facilities are not available, follow your local waste disposal guidelines. Reusing, repurposing, or passing the piece on can also extend its useful life.

Orders are typically prepared for shipment within 3–5 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Yes. When tracking is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details after your order is dispatched.

Yes. OBJ STUDIO ships to select international destinations. Available shipping options and rates are shown at checkout.

Orders shipped outside Canada may be subject to import duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, customs charges, or other local fees.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping rate and are the responsibility of the recipient. They may be collected before or upon delivery.

Applicable GST, HST, or PST is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and applicable tax rules.

Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, in their original condition, and returned with the original packaging.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

We do not process direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, return the eligible item and place a new order.
