Q: Where are your products made?
A: Every OBJ STUDIO item is designed and 3D-printed in Toronto, Canada.

Materials & Sustainability

Q: What material are the items made from?
A: All OBJ STUDIO pieces are 3D-printed using PLA, a plant-based plastic made from renewable resources like corn starch.

Q: Are your products eco-friendly?
A: Yes. PLA is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based plastics, and our 3D-printing process minimizes waste by producing items layer by layer with precision.

Q: What makes your products eco-friendly?
A: We work exclusively with PLA (polylactic acid), a plant-based material. PLA can break down in industrial composting facilities, where available. Combined with our low-waste 3D printing process and considered packaging, every step reflects our commitment to reducing impact.

Q: How sustainable is the 3D-printing process?
A: Unlike traditional manufacturing, 3D-printing creates very little excess waste and allows us to produce only what is needed.

Product Use & Care

Q: Can these items hold water or fresh flowers?
A: Our vases are best suited for dried or artificial flowers. PLA is not waterproof and may soften with long exposure to water.

Q: How durable are 3D-printed items?
A: PLA is lightweight yet strong. With proper care, our products last well, though they should be kept away from extreme heat or moisture.

Q: Are your products safe for home use?
A: Yes. PLA is non-toxic, plant-based, and safe for indoor use.

Q: Do the colours fade over time?
A: PLA keeps its colour well indoors. For best results, avoid long periods in direct sunlight.

Q: How should I care for OBJ STUDIO 3D-printed items?

  • Water: Minimize prolonged contact with water.
  • Heat: Keep away from direct sun, heaters, or high-heat sources.
  • Cleaning: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; use a slightly damp cloth if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Handling: Handle with care to prevent scratches or surface damage.

End-of-Life & Disposal

Q: How should I dispose of OBJ STUDIO products?

  • Best option: Check with your local waste provider for facilities that accept PLA.
  • If no facility is available, dispose of PLA with household waste. It will not break down fast in landfills, but it lowers reliance on fossil-fuel plastics.
  • Better still, reuse, repurpose, or gift your piece so it can be enjoyed longer.

Orders & Shipping

Q: What sizes are available?
A: Sizes for each product are listed on its product page under “Details.”

Q: How long does it take to process and ship orders?
A: Orders are usually processed and shipped within 3–5 business days.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes. We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary by destination.

Q: Will I receive a tracking number?
A: Yes. A tracking number is provided once your order has been dispatched.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Items may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unused and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Q: Do you offer exchanges?
A: We do not process exchanges. If you need a different item, please return your purchase and place a new order.
